Tomorrow’s Society

Tomorrow’s Society is a creative sustainable fashion initiative that harnesses the creative energy of fresh talent in fashion design, photography and related industries to edge recycled design towards wider recognition and an uncompromising fashion-forward image.

This annual project invites people to drop off their unwanted/ discarded clothes at vida e caffĂ© Kloof Street, Green Point and Wembley Square for recycling. Through participating in this program, people will gain the satisfaction of knowing that their old garments will not end up in a landfill, but will in fact be re-shaped into new one-of-a-kind designer creations by innovative young fashion designers selected by Capsule Creative Projects.

100% of profits derived from the sales of any of the recycled garments are donated to non-profit, non-governmental, service organisation Ecolink. Situated in Mpumalanga, Ecolink provides training and support to disadvantaged communities and upholds environmental awareness and education throughout its projects.
The complete collection of images are presented annually in Wembley Square, Gardens, Cape Town.
